Stefano Pilati took some of the iconic elements of Yves Saint Laurent and came up with something new. Felted wool and cashmere, micro Donegal tweeds (which appeared grey but were actually peppered with colour) and sculptural silks were often combined on one garment, accentuating the cut and shape. The classic Zouave pant was also given new life.
